Experiential Learning

To ensure that students actively participate, engage in inquiry, and integrate common skills during the learning process, our school's humanities subjects emphasize experiential learning, allowing students to connect their acquired knowledge with real-life situations.

Humanities subjects such as Business, Accounting, and Financial Studies focus on broadening students' horizons. Each year, students visit trade fairs, Lunar New Year fairs, and various enterprises to understand Hong Kong's business environment. The Geography Department conducts numerous geological field trips to places like Shek O and Tung Ping Chau, emphasizing the comparison and integration of textbook knowledge with real-world situations. The Chinese History Department not only organizes visits to history and cultural museums but also offers various overseas study tours to places like Qingyuan, Kaiping, and Beijing, allowing students to experience the country's development and social conditions firsthand. The Tourism and Hospitality Department applies learning to practice by designing different tour routes in Hong Kong and even arranging for senior students to lead guided tours for junior students in Central. The Life and Society Department organizes various lectures and visits based on the topics, such as visiting Tai Kwun to learn about Hong Kong's criminal trial procedures.

We are committed to providing students with authentic and diverse learning experiences, emphasizing practical learning content, enabling students to integrate and apply knowledge and skills, and cultivating their humanistic qualities.
