Our school aims to provide students with a vibrant learning environment, fostering their interest in languages and enriching their language experiences.
The Chinese Language Department, along with the Chinese History and Literature Departments, has developed a diverse range of year-round activities, including the "Good Books with Sound" competition, drama appreciation, cultural workshops, literary walks, Lantern Festival riddles and recitation activities, Chinese Culture Week, themed book fairs featuring various authors, and more. These activities are designed to stimulate students' interest and love for Chinese language and literature. Additionally, we invite renowned writers, scholars, and literary figures to the school for exchanges and lectures, providing students with a richer and more comprehensive literary experience.
Furthermore, the English Language Department, in collaboration with the Visual Arts and Music Departments, meticulously plans enriching English language activities for all students. These include International Culture Week, Halloween pumpkin carving competition, Bollywood dance, England cricket experience, and the Student International Mentor Teaching Program. These activities integrate art, music, drama, speech, and interactive performances, cultivating students' insights into local and global languages, cultures, and communication. This enhances their speaking and writing abilities, expands their knowledge and skills, and allows them to experience different cultures.
Learning languages can be lively and diverse. Our school hopes that students will discover the fun of languages both inside and outside the classroom and develop a love for languages.
