The "Other Learning Experiences" in our senior secondary curriculum aim to address three directions: "holistic development," "values education and career planning education," and "creating space and catering to student diversity." By making good use of class time, we promote a paradigm shift in teaching and learning, encouraging student learning and development.
The school encourages students to participate in diverse learning activities across five areas: values education, social service, work-related experiences, arts development, and physical development. Courses offered include African drum experience, introductory sign language, karate experience, vocational first aid and AED courses, among others. Through these courses, students are provided with opportunities to encounter new cultures and explore new fields, fostering and enhancing their interest in learning and lifelong learning abilities. By passing exams to obtain professional certification levels, students actively equip themselves, develop career planning, and pave the way for future education and employment opportunities.
