Dream Chasing Journey
O Ga Zeon
The Diploma Examination was an unforgettable journey for me. Everyone has a dream in their heart, filled with challenges and growth, and the final harvest makes me feel gratified and satisfied.
I still remember that when I was in Form 6, I understood that the road to success in the Diploma Examination was not easy and required endless effort and persistence. So I started setting goals and worked hard to learn and develop the corresponding abilities. I had many partners fighting alongside me, encouraging each other and working hard together. I also received support from the principal and teachers, who provided valuable guidance and encouragement, enabling me to make continuous progress.
However, in pursuing my dreams, I encountered many challenges and obstacles. Sometimes, I felt confused and disappointed, but I learned a lot from overcoming difficulties. I learned to persevere, face adversity head-on, and continually adjust my strategy. Most importantly, I learned from my failures and viewed them as necessary steps in the pursuit of success.
It is never easy to reach for the stars. As a liberal arts student, facing so many words and memorizing them all is challenging. Chinese History is a subject that requires a deep understanding of historical events, figures, and contexts. When preparing for Chinese History, I first read a lot of textbooks and reference materials to build a comprehensive understanding. I also studied past examination papers to understand question patterns and trends. Additionally, I regularly took mock exams and practiced answering questions to improve my test-taking skills and time management.
When preparing for the Chinese subject, I focused on reading and writing training. I explored a wide range of literature, including fiction, poetry, and essays, to enhance my understanding of different genres and literary techniques. I actively participated in discussions and writing activities to strengthen my presentation and writing skills. I also organized and memorized important words, idioms, and sentence patterns to tackle language application questions. These efforts enabled me to better understand and answer exam questions.
In general, achieving success in the Diploma Examination does not depend solely on luck or talent. It requires long-term effort, persistence, and strategy. By studying intensively, understanding question patterns, and constantly practicing, I was able to excel in the exam. This experience taught me that as long as we have goals and work hard, we can all achieve excellent results in the Diploma Examination. I hope my sharing can inspire and encourage our school’s junior classmates to achieve more on their learning journey.
