  • My science class

I am curious and passionate about natural sciences, and I love exploring and understanding the world around me through observation and experience. I think science is not only a subject but also a way of life. It teaches me how to solve problems with a rational and truth-seeking attitude. Therefore, I chose to become a science teacher to pass on my interest and knowledge to the next generation.

In my science classes, I value two aspects: engagement and connection. Participation means letting students actively participate in various classroom activities, such as doing experiments, building models, dismantling electrical appliances, searching for information online, etc. These activities allow students to experience the process and fun of science firsthand, enhance their interest and motivation, and develop their common abilities such as observation, analysis, reasoning, and cooperation. Connection means allowing students to connect the new knowledge with existing knowledge or experience to form a complete system. This can help students deepen their understanding and memory of scientific concepts and be able to apply them flexibly in daily life.

I believe science is a beautiful and interesting subject that reveals the mysteries and laws of nature. I hope my students can feel this beauty and fun in my science classes and be able to master solid scientific knowledge and skills. More importantly, I hope they can develop a scientific spirit and attitude, and face the various challenges and choices in life with a truth-seeking, open-minded, and innovative mindset.

Finally, let me share a quote from a pioneer in electromagnetism.

“Nothing is too wonderful to be true if it is consistent with the laws of nature.”
